HELPING STUDENTS CONNECT WITH JESUS

We want to help students connect to Jesus! In order to stay connected to Jesus long-term, we believe there are three things that help.

The first is the example a primary caregiver given. That’s why we want to invite everyone connect with Jesus through worship, community and serving. Check out the following link:

The second is another adult who invests in the student and models how they live out their faith. That’s why a mentoring relationship is a part of our confirmation program. Learn more here:

CONFIRMATION

The third and final piece is serving. Youth programming does not occur during the service on Sundays. Instead, we hope to create space for students to be full participants in the church body. They serve in kids’ ministry, volunteer on the tech or host team with members of our church of all ages. More information on Sundays here:

Like adults, students need safe places to ask questions, wrestle with difficult ideas and to have fun with their friends. We partner with Crossview Covenant Church for Wednesday Night youth programming. Check out youth group information here:

YOUTH GROUP

We want to help our students connect to Jesus! Sadly, many studies indicate that more and more youth are leaving the church. We want to invest in students so that they stay connected to Jesus forever.

YOUTH GROUP

CONFIRMATION

Every parent hopes their child develops a faith that lasts. Confirmation is one of the ways we partner with families to help make that happen.

During the middle and high school years, students begin to think for themselves, ask deeper questions, and develop their own identity. Confirmation comes at an important stage in that journey. Our hope is to provide a place where students can learn, reflect, and ultimately affirm their faith in Jesus.

Confirmation meets most Sundays from 8:30am-9:30am and is open to students in 6th–11th grade. It is designed as a two-year discipleship journey through the Bible. Students spend one year exploring the Old Testament and one year exploring the New Testament.

In addition to attending weekly class, students are encouraged to:

Meet with a mentor twice each month to discuss Scripture, ask questions, and grow in their faith.
Participate in Confirmation retreats.
Serve regularly at church.
Serve in the community alongside others in the class.
Complete sermon reflection forms.
Write a personal faith story and participate in a pastoral interview.

Students who complete the program publicly affirm their faith and are celebrated during Confirmation Sunday.

Middle & High School (6th-12th Grade)

We are starting something new in 2026. Beginning January 14 we will meet weekly at the Picklebarn from 6:30pm-8pm to connect with other students, get to know adults who are genuinely interested in your life and learn more about God and why he cares about you.

We will also provide Pizza from 6pm-6:30pm.

Occasionally we will switch it up with another activity. Check the youth calendar below for the latest plans.

Middle & High School (6th-12th Grade)

We meet every Wednesday at Crossview-Howard Drive from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Bring a friend and receive a prize for you AND your friend. Each night we have a fun activity, large group with worship, small group discussion time, and sometimes snacks. Once a month we try to do fun events. CROSSVIEW STUDENTS WEBSITE

SUNDAY MORNING

We empower students to full participation in the church. Our weekly worhsip service is at 10:00am. They can also help with kids church, care for kids in the nursery, run the production equipment, help with the hospitality team or participate on the worship team.
