Kristin Odland

Kristin graduated from the University of Iowa in 2005 with a BA in Health Promotion and minors in Spanish and Psychology. After graduating, she spent two years in Sao Paulo, Brazil and loved living cross-culturally! After returning from Brazil, she spent the past 15 years working with a nationally recognized international student organization called Bridges International. She had opportunities to spend time in a few countries over the years for my work with Bridges and just for fun including: Ukraine, France, Switzerland, India, Sri Lanka, Chile, Spain, Morocco, Mexico and Canada. She loves learning about culture, trying food from around the globe, and welcoming students to the U.S. in the same way that I have felt welcomed in so many places around the world. She is married and has 3 daughters and a small herd of guinea pigs.
